Nero Viz is a character in Woven Memories. She is a teenage girl who works for the government agency DART as a virus deletion specialist.

She has cybernetic limbs and a pair of visualizers that can appear from her brow at will that she uses to fight viruses all over Spacity. She has a scythe that is made of a disruptive energy that is capable of deleting most viruses with a single slash.

Personality

Nero has a nasty personality and is difficult to deal with even on a good day. She's arrogant, hot blooded, and strict. She attempts to be manipulative, but does not have a good track record with success on that. She thinks she's smarter and wiser than she actually is, but most people fear the power she has so no one argues with her.

She hates weakness and all things she thinks are frivolous. This includes games and toys, and anything colorful or joyful. She's a pragmatist and utilitarian with no nuance -- if something has no use it's a waste of time to her.

She takes her job at DART very seriously, dedicating all her time to protecting Spacity from any and all threats to its communication infrastructure. Every waking hour is spent at DART or on patrol for DART.

She never lets herself be happy about success for long, convinced that she will lose her edge if she revels in victory and becomes complacent. Every cackle or joyful moment she has is when she establishes herself as more powerful than her opponent.

Deep down she has a lot of unaddressed emotions and feelings that she will never confront. She buries her true feelings deep, deep down since she has more important things to worry about, like the safety of Spacity.

Appearance

Nero is a 5 foot 4, fifteen year old girl with platinum blonde hair and grey eyes. She has a groove just below her brows that meets at the top of the bridge of her nose where a pair of purple visualizer shades unfolds from. She typically wears a headset with a pair of night vision goggles that she uses in her missions.

She wears very flat headphones over her ears that have long dangling cords that hang off each of them. These are specialized equipment that help her hear viruses or EM Beings in need of culling.

She wears a large black cloak that ends in jagged rectangular shapes. This cloak covers the majority of her form and is reversible to reveal a desert camo on the inside. The cloak is EM shielded and protects her from any attacks, heating up in the process. Underneath the cloak she wears tactical gear and short sleeves and shorts both colored and patterned with desert camo.

All four of her limbs are cybernetic up to joint midway for each limb. Her arms have purple claws and plating for the forearm that covers a purple clear casing that shows the working underneath. The artificial muscles in her arms are clear nanofibers so the metal bone can be seen.

Her legs are more metallic, with only the knee joint being the iconic glowing purple, and end in a zygodactyl talon, meant to mimic that of an owl. She uses these to launch herself into fights and grapple enemies with her talons.

She uses a massive scythe whose blade is made of concentrated EM waves at a frequency designed to disrupt other EM things, including electronics. She wields it of its side, making low horizontal cuts, instead of it being wield like a polearm or a spear.

History

Nero has been working with DART in some capacity for a long time, going out and hunting down Wizards that were never completely deleted in the Net Reset and finishing them off. She also has been training with DART for a long while.

Her brother, Blake Viz, is also employed by DART and has adopted the title of Megaman as a PR stunt for DART. Nero is largely annoyed by this.

Upon learning that there was a real Megaman back in their era, she sought out to hunt him down and recruit him to DART, along with the rumored Navis that have popped up recently too.
