Ellen Stream is a co-main character of Woven Memories. She is a teenage girl born and raised in Spacity, Netopia.

She spends most of her time playing a video game called Netken, a video game that mimics NetBattling. She lives with her mother in a small government funded apartment and gets homeschooled there. She has a rocky relationship with her mother and has no friends outside of Reg Garret, Eni Ijuuin, and anyone she's met through the chatroom.

Her NetNavi Cometman.EXE was created under very mysterious means that everyone is still trying to understand. Regardless, she considers Cometman to be her best friend and would do anything for him.

She loves to fight both with NetBattling and in the real world. She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and utilizes a lot of kicks in her fighting.

Personality

Ellen is energetic, bubbly, and loud. So much so that it tends to push other people away. She's super friendly to people who can withstand her energy, avoidant of those who dislike her, and actively combative to anyone who hates her friends. She's odd and quirky and tries her best to cheer her friends up and keep things lively.

She enjoys sweet treats and snacks, and makes sure all her friends are taken care of food wise.

She's extremely loyal and quick to make friends, even towards people who would not consider her in the same way. She can and will fight, live, and die for her friends!

Appearance

She is a tall, 5 foot 8 inch, 14 year old girl with long orange hair and freckles. She's lanky and athletic, and uses her gangly arms to gesture about as she talks a lot.

She wears a forest green jacket with a faux fur rimmed hood, brick red shorts, tennis shoes with long socks, and a pair of visualizer shades on her head. Her visualizer's one large lens is cyan colored, and rimmed with a dark blue and has audio capabilities as well as visual, allowing her to hear and see EM Beings.

Her eyes are the same color of her hair when everything normal. When she and Cometman are at the peak of Full Synchro, her eyes flash green.

History

Ellen was a pretty lonely girl who spent most of her time at home playing Netken. On occasion, she will go out and train in Tae Kwon Do, or take a walk around the park outside her apartment. Otherwise, she never really interacted with other people, especially ones her age.

She was suspended from public school after getting in an altercation with another student and has been home schooled ever since.

She met Reg while out and about walking behind her apartment, catching the end of a fight he was having with a virus. They slowly warmed up to each other and became friends after Reg realized how much they had in common.

Meeting Mel

Before the events of the chatroom, Ellen met Mel after discovering a rift in her world and falling into Mel's world. Unable to return home, she had to spend the night over at Mel's apartment.

Reg and Eni also discover a rift and enter it to Mel's world to rescue her. They fight a large substantiated Mettaur and beat it with the assistance of Taka from Defrag and a character named Eishi, both of which are not in this particular rp group.

Before leaving, Ellen and Mel have a fight where Ellen declared that she and Mel are the same, earnestly believing that the two girl's struggles and lives are similar and therefore should be friends with each other.

This is also when Ellen learns about Cross Fusion.

Cometman.EXE: Her best friend for the very short amount of time she's known him. She loves him deeply, even if she doesn't have the words to describe it.
Reg Garret: A good friend! Too serious and shy at times, but always fun to hang out with.
Silver: Awesome friend and always a treat to see!
Eni Ijuuin: They had a rocky start, but after being honest with each other, they have become very good friends and are always there for each other.
One.EXE: A rival that she respects despite not understanding how on Earth he works.
Nero Viz: A weirdo that at one point was annoying to Mel, and if anyone is going to annoy Mel, it's her.
Mel: A prickly pear that's just the same kind of prickly as she is. Mel may not think they are similar, but Ellen thinks so.
Triese Abysa: An awesome and incredible friend who Ellen could chat with forever and ever. Instantly friends.
Lan Hikari^CR: A cool ally and a really strong NetBattler. After witnessing her true power, she finds her scary and feels rejected by her.
Rock.EXE: A super cool NetNavi that she considers a friendly rival.
Meiru Sakurai^FS: An awesome sensei and Alpha Squad member who is super strong and capable.
Pat Sprigs: A cool, but shy guy who is sometimes a cool straightforward guy! And he can wave change!
Dr. Hikari^SF: She wouldn't remember this, but there's an undying hatred for this man that feeds a feral hunger deep within her.
Netto Hikari^KQ: She saw this guy sneeze blood one time after suplexing the guy by proxy. Very cool.
Aon.EXE: An Alpha Squad member who needs to get off their high horse and horse around with the other members more respectfully.

2024-12-15: Who of The Beach?! - Ellen, Triese, and Pat all hang out at the beach party in Lan^SF world and crack a watermelon open.
2025-02-16: Open Up! - Ellen confronts Mel over her beating up Reg and other big emotions and she learns that a little of Mel’s backstory.
2025-04-12: The Starliner Express - Ellen meets Meiru^FS, Lan^CR and Aon on a train and they fight The Conductor, an agent of Alpha.
2025-05-09: Lionhearted pair - Ellen and Meiru^FS are training and get ambushed by a big virus.
