Personality

Rougher around the edges. While still the hero he always was, he has experienced much hardship and trauma. More wary of others, and tends to get lost in his own thoughts. Sometimes prone to acting out/lashing out, for which he feels horribly for later.

History

Following after the events of Battle Network 5: Team Protoman, Doctor Regal regained his memories in secret and sought out to punish those who wronged him. In doing so, he launched a campaign against them, starting with the kidnapping and experimentation on Enzan and Rockman. After being saved from this, Rockman found himself lost in his own world, his thoughts rebelling against him. As his own psyche wore down, others were being hurt around him- so in a moment of isolation, a virus known as SAViOR made itself known, taking over his body. This monster caused him to act out, and attempt to hurt those who he loved most. After banishing this virus, Rockman has been striving to pick up the pieces and help his friends heal from the nightmare Regal caused...But with new developments, maybe Regal wasn't gone for good after all. And why was he so keen on Rockman's DNA, anyway...?
