== Appearance ==<br />
Dark Rockman appears very similar to Rockman, inhabiting the same body as his. When in control, his eyes are red, and his skin appears slightly paler, with sunken in cheeks. He also prefers to not wear his helmet, and retains Rockman's blue-black hair. He is able to mask the changes to his form to look exactly like Rockman.<br />

== Personality ==<br />
Dark Rockman is a polar opposite of Rockman; whereas Rockman is horrified by his violent outbursts, Dark Rockman encourages them, finding joy in causing suffering to others. However, in their older age, he is less childish and prone to impulsive outburst. His agreements with Rockman keep him from acting out, allowing him some space to cause minor chaos. Somehow, he seems somewhat protective over Rockman, taking responsibility for actions that aren't his fault and covering for him. Despite this, he still terrorizes Rockman, pressuring him to accept ideas about his trauma that aren't true. <br />

=== Battle Network 4/5 ===<br />
Dark Rockman was created in Battle Network 4 due to exposure to DarkChips and Rockman's subsequent usage of them. While at the time he was fairly unformed and existed mostly as a modified state to Rockman, further exposure through Battle Network 5 gave him more of a personality. <br />

At first, he was quite loyal to Dr. Regal, and existed solely to suppress Rockman's soul to maintain control. While a powerful Darkloid, he was eventually subdued by Team Blues. Chaos Unison existed as a channeling mechanism for this DarkSoul; while nearly snuffed out, he was never truly deleted, and began to absorb much of Rockman's inner feelings that he didn't want to externalize- hate, rage, and violence.<br />

=== Middle School / High School Era ===<br />

Following Battle Network 6, Dark Rockman began to form into a proper aspect of Rockman, able to communicate over his thoughts and occasionally take partial control. Rockman attempted to suppress this for years, fearing what it might mean for all of the work he and Netto had done to eradicate DarkPower on the net. <br />

During high school, Rockman briefly lost total control, which came as a surprise to [[Netto Hikari (Keep Quiet) | Netto]], who did not know the DarkSoul was starting to come back. In desperation, Rockman begged Netto to not tell their father, and he agreed; so long as they could work on it together, and come to an understanding with Rockman's DarkSoul. <br />
